crushd is India's first invite-only, privacy-first dating application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("Service").

We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Account Registration (via Google Sign-In):

• Email address
• Name
• Profile picture URL (from Google, not stored permanently)

Profile Information:

• Display name, date of birth, gender identity
• Location (city/area text only — NOT GPS coordinates)
• Bio, occupation, education, relationship preferences
• Photos (1-6 images)

2.2 We do NOT collect:

• GPS coordinates or real-time location
• Raw phone numbers or contacts list
• Calendar, call logs, or SMS

3. How We Use Your Information

• Core Service: Account management, matching, encrypted messaging
• Safety: Age verification, fake profile detection, block/report handling
• Communication: Responding to support requests

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use analytics or tracking tools

4. Data Security & Encryption

• All messages are end-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM)
• Only you and the recipient can read messages
• Photos stored securely on Cloudflare R2

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your Control:

• Delete any photo anytime
• Delete your entire account via Settings → Delete Account
• Account deletion removes all data within 30 days

You have the right to:

1. Access: Request a copy of your data
2. Correction: Fix inaccurate information
3. Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
4. Withdrawal: Stop sharing optional data
